Actually, as long as you stay away from quinolones, you should be OK.

 

I had no problems with antibiotics during my taper and recovery.  I do have a lot of drug allergies so I'm limited to just a few antibiotics like Z-pak, doxycycline, clindamycin.

 

I hope your ear feels better, I've had more than a few ear infections myself.

Ugh, the sooner you start taking an antibiotic, the better you'll feel.  I've been there, many times.

Me too. With a bad sinus infection that I ignored until I had trouble breathing. The AB really helped me a lot..............

I'm taking a course of amoxicillin right now and like all antibiotics it's really makes my stomach queasy and stuff but it's clearly not a problem with my taper. I'd rather have the antibiotics than a throbbing tooth or frankly an oozing green stuff ear. B

I had no reaction to ammoxocillan with a good large dose of probiotics.

I had to take a Z-Pack (Azythromizine) and was fine. Common for sinus infections. Ive heard Cipro was bad too, besides quinolones. Get well

Same here. If an AB is safe, then I think amoxicillin is a safer drug.

That's what I did the last time I was sick. Kept putting it off hoping it would get better because I was afraid of the antibiotics. One day I could barely pull in air in and went to the clinic. I wish I hadn't put it off. From now on if I'm sick more than 5 days with no relief I'm not waiting. Viruses are horrible in withdrawl! I swear my high fevers are due to my amigdala. When I was on my full dose I got ice cold every time I took my dose. I live in Fl. And keep the house at 75 and I'd be wearing sweats and a sweater.

I  felt the same while I had an undiagnosed thyroid illness. I was freezing, even in the summer. I'm not going to let a sinus infection get the better of me the next time.

 

Bets
