I seem to feel worse after some events. They were for shopping or going to see my sister etc . Going out itself is not stressing for me when I am a bit better but I feel like my body feels so stressed and nervous. it might be easy thing for someone else but not for me.. Anyone can relate? I don't have confidence myself anymore.... Thanks for reading.

I think since our bodies are so compromised with W/D there are many otherwise simple situations that become more intense or stressful than normal. I've had it~ it will get better!

I think that hits us all - me too.

In such a sensitised state, we spend outrageous amounts of energy just to 'stand still' at events such as you describe. It's like being "onstage".

And if you're anything like me, then there will be no end to the additional pressure you put on yourself trying self-consciously to be unselfconscious, lol.

It will all pass in time, when we're back up to the speed of "normal"

At least, that is what I have noticed anyway  :smitten:

hi Kay just out of curiosity did you notice an uptick in symptoms when you switched to liquid? How did the milk work for you besides the bubbling? I'm holding right now after doing some drastic cuts and I'm still on the fence about milk. And I don't want to use PG or alcohol. I can't cut slow enough with the scale. So milk seems to be my only option. Thanks for any info. I'm really struggling with this decision. Nicole

Nicole, what I have heard is that tablet doesn't melt. its suspension, so when you shake a bottle many times, you should pull liquid so quickly. so water works for me. I don't use milk because of the reason as I mentioned about bubbles. but this is my case, I have heard there are buddies that use milk, so there may be another way of milk, but I don't have the information with it unfortunately. ~Kay

Yes I did have a bit headache at first but i can reduce gradually with liquid method up to now.

thank you Kay for answering my questions. I'm sorry you had not such a great day after going out. I believe any type of stimulation is very sensitive to us right now. I've had some serious life stressors over the past two months, and before that I felt like I was stabilizing and now I feel like I did after my last cut. You should be very proud of yourself to be close to being off this stuff, I don't know if you were in tolerance when you started, but this journey is almost over for you. Thank you for answering my questions. :) Nicole

What Your feeling is par for the course in WD ! Early in My taper I walked into a supermarket with a friend and made it through two isles . At that point I was overwhelmed with everything in the store, it was all too stimulating , started to feel panicky and almost ran out of the store .

I find that " at least so far " now that My dose is getting smaller I am now able to handle a tad more stimulative places so what You experiencing is very normal. Its amazing how many ways a benzo can light up Your nervous system .
