no problems for 3 months then...

I tapered off .5mg K over about 2 months with no symptoms then was completely off for about 1.5 months then all the sudden a few days ago it hit me BAD. Doesn't make sense to me. I had NO symptoms before now besides maybe a random heart flutter feeling.

Has this happened to anyone else?

if not anyone know if this can happen?

What symptoms? Did you have a stressful event when they started?

Yes i think i did have a trigger. This is unlike anything ive ever been through though.

Depression(bad)

Anxiety

feel shaky

Have a kind of an adrenaline "flush" feeling through body

very sleepy and have no problem falling asleep at my normal time. but i have had like 6 15-30 minute naps today alone which is very abnormal for me

No appetite

Random body twitches

...and it probably has nothing to do with benzos or withdrawal.

Do you really think so? I posted my symptoms above

Hi notthat  I was taken CT of a big long term dose of Ativan years ago knowing nothing about Benzos or withdrawal at the time, the actual withdrwal hit me 3 months later :D :D :D It was unreal! going from a little bit down which I never connected to coming off the pills to feeling the best I felt in many years then being plunged into hell 3 months later? You probably have what I had, and its common ''late on set withdrawal'' its definitely the withdrwal.

Exactly the same thing happened when I got take CT off long term Amitriptyline, felt great, over a month  or two later hell again and I was in such a mess as I also had a hip replacement done that's when the Amitriptyline got stopped.  I am talking from too many times experience here, Builder is wrong its withdrwal and nothing else at all, I hope this puts you at ease. :)

Yes, this can happen sometimes.  Withdrawal is not logical or linear.  Hopefully you'll feel better soon and continue healing!  :smitten:

Notthat,

I dont know about the whole witharawal thing... iv given up guessing...

But if u move the (bad) down to anxiety, u have described my symptoms of late... and yes so tired, lots of sleeps...

I have done some med changes, but the only real difference is i now sleep more at night.

Sorry this aint much help though...
