As I said before but people dont interpret what I am saying is that In October 2014 when this all started I had very bad difficulty GETTING to sleep, so then I started on the Ativan and all other meds, There is no way the getting to sleep part has nothing to do with withdrawl because I was having the getting to sleep issue before I got on it, I was thinking the Quality of the sleep though may have gotten bad from over use but I really do Fear I will Never sleep good again as Dr's have no conclusion why I am like this!

Example: I may have doed to sleep from 2:30-5:30am, woke up awful, Stayed up till 11am then thried agan till 2:30PM and it was just on and off dozing, no real sleep at all, I am losing it and I truly am not sure how long my Brain or heart can take much more of this, and without realizing there is something other wrong with me, sooner or later one or the other will give out

Many people forget they had a pre-existing condition that led to being prescribed a benzodiazepine.  I was prescribed for RLS 36 years ago.  I still have RLS and always will, I simply have had to look for other ways to deal with it.  It has its own set of symptoms that remain long after the benzodiazepine issues are gone.

Cant remember it was only like 25mg I think, I wasnt on it but maybe a month or 2 cause it started making me sick and not feeling well because Novermber 2014 I couldnt eat with family at thanksgiving because it made me feel sick, So I was on it from Mabe Mid October till the end of November only

Most of my Meds like Remeron, Olanzapine, Ambien ext, I was not on constant or long enough to get dependant on other then ativan

Also For some reason I have having Symptoms that I have had before:

#1. Metalic Tastebuds/things taste hotter or colder/stronger taste/Tongue gets sore from eating foods some reason

#2. Sweaty Armpits again

#3. Every night no matter if I sleep a short time or just Doze I think I have some kind of dreams ALL THE TIME!

Also a few  other things, When I feel tired to try to sleep but I lay there eyes closed for a couple hours but dont sleep I get up and I feel more tired then I did before I tried, is that Normal?

Also I read one place that Procrastinating sleep, like wanting to do more during the day you don't have time for could also cause horrible insomnia

As Well as I use the Computer alot So I don't know if I have so Much Blue light in me that My brain is just overwhelmed by it or not because I use it ALOT more then any normal human should so I wear blue bloking glasses now

I have horrible insomnia. I have for decades. However, I am able to manage it with a low dose of serequel.  I  now sleep six to seven hours most nights. It is broken sleep. I take 25 mg of serequel to go to sleep and then 25 mg two times during the night to put me back to sleep. Without if i would stay awake for days and days. I am sorry to read that it had such negative effects on you. It has been literally my savior.

I would get up when you can sleep. I would not lay there for hours trying. From my own experience doing that drove me insane...tossing and turning and thinking of the whole world sleeping.

Having cognitive trouble so not reading this thread very carefully, but want to let ppl know that if meds and physical probs are not the cause for insomnia, Sasha Stephens' 'The Effortless Sleep Method' is a sleep-focused CBT program recommended by professionals to help a lot. You can buy it online. I bought it myself before knowing my insomnia is from medicine, and it looks good.

I had horrible insomnia for years. I have expressed this to you before. Anyways, I used the PC constantly. I played world of Warcraft, and for years I had to drink myself to sleep. I thought I had insomnia. But I finally figured out that it was my relationship with sleep that had to change. No more computer before bed, atleast 2-3 hours. The days I didn't play video games or look at a screen were the ones I slept best. It most definitely makes my brain oversensitive and overhyped. My body will be tired but the light will still be on. I made sure my room was dark, and that I was clean, clean shaven and had fresh linens. These things helped tremendously. A white noise machine that I got for 15 bucks at Walmart helps a ton. I have used one every night for years.

Your symptoms are classic benzo withdrawal symptoms. Unless you have evidence to the contrary, it may help to try and put yourself in a state of acceptance about it. I hear a lot of struggle in your posts. Can feel it. Every day you keep going is one more closer to healing. You have gotten this far, what have you tried to do differently about sleep? Have you tried not looking at screens for a day? Maybe stick to books for a day. It certainly sounds like pc screens are causing you lots of problems with sleep. And combined with benzo withdrawal, it could be extremely debilitating. Hope you find relief

I have tried a few days without CPU before and didnt help much at all, I was up again last night until 8am where I possibly slept till 12pm, also now I notice that the middle of the roof of my mouth has a deep red spot and the rest of the roof and sides of the top of my mouth are not as red but there are lightly colored red spots all over, they dont hurt but Im guessing now that that is probably a sign of oral cancer, yay more problems WHY NOT!

My parents say that the Red Spots all over the roof of my mouth look like Measles but its not Id have other problems

So....The red dots can't be measles so they have to be cancer? Your thinking is kind of screwy, probably due to benzo withdrawal. But you are assuming the worst in things. That your insomnia is fatal insomnia etc. Be aware of where your mind is taking you.

Mark, you jump to the worse conclusions. I highly doubt you have oral cancer. They are a number of things that can cause this. I would suggest making an appointment with your doctor or dentist so you can put your mind at ease. You don't need another worry.
