Using your liquid to do a daily microtaper would probably be easier than crossing to V.

How do I do this? I am very brain zapped, old lady who needs step by step .

And understanding on how much to mix and pull safely daily.

1)  What is the concentration (ratio) of your liquid...how many mgs in a ml?

2)  Do you know what the basic ingredients are...what the basic liquid is?

If you don't know the answers to these ?s, ask your pharmacist.

BTW, I think you would find tapering with liquid less complicated than doing a crossover.

Hello builder,

You helped me once before with my proposed Ativan micro-taper. I apologise for hijacking this thread, but my question (and current level of Ativan) is virtually the same as the Buddie's who posted here.

I'm currently on 0.1584 mg Ativan, having just started my vodka micro-taper from 0.16 mg. I cut 0.0004 mg per day, split between an AM and a PM dose. The plan is to make 400 cuts to zero, over the next year and a few months.

You can see my past cutting history in my signature, which regrettably was too fast, down to 0.16 mg. I'm finding it very hard to stabilize at all, or to cut further. My main symptoms are extreme anxiety and phobias/DP. I suspect I've been in tolerance for a long time. I do have short windows (a couple of hours at a time) and I sleep OK. Physical symptoms are manageable.

I'm worried that with Ativan's short half-life, I'll feel the cuts more and more as I taper down. In your opinion, would it be worthwhile to switch to V at this late stage? Is it worth the risk, and what are the odds that it would relieve some of the extreme anxiety? I'm very scared of things going wrong, as I've been through 7 years of intense suffering with A/D withdrawal, systemic candida and other health challenges already.

Thanks, builder, in advance for your input! I would appreciate any other buddies chiming in as well...

Lara
