I wonder if the weather has anything to do with our increase in symptoms?

I've been struggling with sinus for a while now. I also notice when my sinus seems irritated my dp\dr, anxiety and brain fog seems to increase. I'm wondering if anyone else is suffering with sinus issues or if the weather change has anything to do with some of our increase in symptoms.

I don't know about everyone else, but it seems like my mood is greatly affected by the weather. If it's bright or sunny (I live up north where the winter is long and dark) I feel like reborn, but lord help me when the weather turns dark or even the sun sets I become depressed and lethargic.. I could be sensitive to the weather, but I feel like it's getting at ridiculous levels when on w/d.

Weather definitely affects me. Even before benzos it did; I've always hated winter. I live in CA and despite its sunny reputation, the winters can get pretty cold. I'm glad I got off benzos but the other day I jokingly thought I picked a bad time to jump and deal with acute during winter!  :idiot:

Last week we had the best weather we've had here in months and I had the best window I've had since I started this mess. Go figure we have a storm this week and next and I'm in one of my worst waves now.

I really don't care about the weather to be honest, not mentally anyway. Here in the UK winter can be very dull and bleak, mostly wet now lol. We've not had any snow so far this winter, just rain. I do wonder if things like lack of daylight/sunlight, that can make even people who are otherwise well, depressed, can make our WD sxs worse, specially those of us with psych sxs/conditions. I got told by the addiction agency that my sxs were because of the weather lol. I somehow don't think a bit of cold and rain is causing my severe batch of physical sxs. It may not be helping but it's not causing it. I used to (and mentally still do), love being outside regardless of the weather. I am sadly too sick physically to make it out of the house now.

Also winter means colds and flu and colds and flu are really bad news for people in WD. Our bodies are fighting enough without a viral onslaught on top of what they are doing to heal the Benzo damage. Another winter nasty is Norovirus. This evil virus is underestimated in what it does to us, I'd easily rank it alongside the other nasties like the flu, and just like the flu, it can be very bad news for anyone with compromised health, young children and older people. I've been lucky with bugs so far this winter. I didn't get the flu shot this year as I felt my body just couldn't deal with any more chemicals. I'm not going out, not mixing with others, not really moving at all par from the sofa to the kitchen lol, so I suppose these are factors in this.

For me yws. When is sunny ans beautiful weather I feel good. When is foggy and dark I feel bad.

I feel the same. As soon as the weather changed, I went back to acute. My anxiety started up along with sinus issues. I've been struggling with my sinus now for a few months, which I think contributes to my brain fog. I don't know it just seems that many people on here started to struggle when the weather changed. Just trying to see if there is a correlation.

In the winter not only are the days shorter but we seem to have more cloudy days so even less sunshine. I did buy a blue light thing to stare at and I think it helps a little.

As I have gotten older, I seem to be more sensitive to changes in everything.  Thus, when it goes from a warm spell back to cold and then back to warm that bothers me as well.  Seems like I used to enjoy all that but no more.

I've noticed this too. For some reason when we have a drastic, and often unnatural shift in weather patterns from hot to cold and back it has an effect on my sxs. Not sure why this is but my body is so weak and sick now I think it would react to a single extra pea on my dinner plate
