Promithizine/Phenerghan cause setback?

I was given this after surgery 3 weeks ago for sleep, 25mg, take 2 at once.  I've only taken one at night, and my leg/hip cramps and nerve pain has become unbearable.  I cut one in half last night, and still worse this a.m., IT band in left hip hurts all the time, and legs are weak and cramping.

 

I'm not taking this anymore, don't want a setback. :'(  I've also had increased anxiety.  Does anyone have knowledge of this med?  I hope it doesn't setback the healing I've achieved.

  MG,  Scroll down and there is a thread on promethazine.  Someone else is having a bad reaction and is in hospital but she has taken it for years.  I think you will be fine after only three weeks, good you found out how nasty this med can be also.  Why oh why do they give us this crap.

I saw that  :'(  The leg/hip cramps just started getting bad a few days ago, so hopefully I'l be ok soon.

Once I didn´t tolerate promethazine well at all once I got below a certain dose of clonazepam.
