NYC support group?

[...]

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

Is anyone in the NYC area willing to meet to create an in-person support group?  It could be healing to have people to talk to in person about this experience.  No one in my life understands what I'm going through.

If there is any interest, we can coordinate to meet in a public place to talk and support each other.

We do not encourage our members to meet in person. We do understand what you are going through. We have some pretty great members here and their collective wisdom is enormous.  Since we are world wide there are always members on line at anytime of the day. I think you can get some pretty good advice an support through others experiences right here, on line.

hi lmd!  i feel very much the same and have been looking for benzo support groups in nyc.  benzos-r-cruel makes a valid point though...the anonymity and safety of being online coupled with the wisdom and support of the bb community is priceless.

Moderator, do you think it's okay to have a conference call? That way we are live and using our voices but not seeing each other. We can do an AA format, with speakers and conversation.
