CITA -- Link to Download a Book Full of Useful Information

I came across this by chance it's full of very useful tips for getting off these drugs.  The actual website has closed down as the authors have passed on.  The PDF is called Back to Life and I hope it will become a valuable read and source of useful information for many of you regarding withdrawal.

Chapters 21 & 22 have some very good info regarding Tahitian Noni Juice which they claim reduces withdrawal symptoms considerably and nil in some cases if you take it correctly under a slow taper.

Beware.

A good portion of this is an advertisement for noni juice. They even have a link to the multi level marketing company where you can buy it, complete with a "distributor number". How convenient that someone writes a book advertising a "remedy" that they make money from. Sounds like snake oil to me.

It also uses the word addict or addiction hundreds of times without much mention of dependence, which is what most of us are really suffering from.

As I understand it this book was written years ago and passed on well meaningly by people who have gone through it without the knowledge we have now.  I guess if they found this juice to work for them then they maybe thought it would help others, after all we don't have to buy it do we. To be honest I wouldn't know where to buy the juice so I look on it as a helpful extra. I personally can put up with that link because I find the book is full of helpful information for those seeking knowledge of how to get through.  In those days it was simply called addiction for sake of an adjective I don't think the word dependence had even been thought of in this context at the time of writing the book. I just thought it might be considered as useful for someone and obviously there is no obligation for anyone to buy the juice in fact I had never heard of it so I felt I had learned something.

Well, I have been around this stuff for over 6 years and this is the first I have heard of noni juice helping withdrawal symptoms. I would be very wary of a food that already comes with lots of spurious health benefit claims, especially if the person who is promoting it is involved in a network marketing scheme to sell it.

Thanks, Susie.  Pam Armstrong did a huge amount to help people in the UK when no other help was available.  I am sure much more is known now about withdrawal.

Fiona

Thanks Susie! The book has helped me tremendously! And I really want to try the noni juice but I'm scared because it doesn't seem like anybody has tried this for benzo withdrawal! :(
