How would I go about this in other words what should I tell doc I want to is it a straight cross over like just switch to diazepam or mix them for while Ashton Manuel has no examples at this dose

Think the accepted ratio is 20 : 1  so would be 7.5mg of valium,

You can't just switch from K to V, you need to do a gradual, proportional transition.

 

Even if Ashton doesn't show a chart for your dosage, look at the ratio of change, and follow that time window.

Hi I did a three day swap at this dose at a detox unit. I think too quick as it takes 2 weeks for valium blood levels to come up. Prob would have been better to switch .125 for equivalent valium dose  think 2.5 mg valium each week. Any way I have not looked closely at the manual if weekly or two weekly swap better. but they sent me home on 4.5 mg and because I could not fall asleep ended up on 6mg still with withdrawal and doctor from detox eventually said I should have been on 7.5! Got through it in the end!
