I'm curious, can you be prescribed medicine like we take by a nurse without first seeing the Dr. for a diagnosis? When I started going to the practice I get my meds from I never saw a Dr., Just the Psychiatric nurse. She is all I have ever seen. Is this ok? Is it legal?

In most states, yes.

 

OK, I figured he wouldn't risk his bustling business. I actually prefer the nurse. At least it makes more sense that she is not as knowledgeable in some areas.
