My weird adventure continues. I continue to struggle with bizarre symptoms this month. Gone are the headaches, numbness, and tingling. I now have elevated heart rate, adrenalin rushes, breathing issues, and frequent urination.  My heart rate will instantly rise to about 130 with standing. I believe this is called pots. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Other times things slow down and I have to force myself to breathe. I barely sleep like this. I have lost 15 pounds in january. Anyone else have this? I am worried for my life. My wife thinks it is just my health anxiety and I see a therapist today. I have health anxiety for sure but that doesn't cause weird heart rate fluctuations just with standing.  I feel so trapped. I am tired of this suffering.

I think the heart rate and adrenaline surges are withdrawals . I'm sure. So many symtoms I am having I don't have prior benzo except the ruminations thoughts but they are more intense during wd. I'm having burning scalps now. Hope you feel better soon . I'm 7.5 months out I can't wait for this to be over.

I too am tired of this suffering, but I need to accept that this is my life now.  It's hard to do that, to have complete acceptance. I find myself fighting for who I was and not being who I am now.

Acceptance is very difficult when going through these windows and waves.  Acceptance is much easier during a window than it is during a wave.

I am 16 months off. I am mostly healed though have a few symptoms that I cannot seem to shake. I have gotten bouts of tachycardia from acute through the present. Though last night was different. I fell asleep at 11pm and was woken at 130am with neck pain, I lifted my head. Still half asleep, was laying my right side, when suddenly my left pectoral/chest area lurched/spasmed sending terror through my body. I jumped out of bed, now wide awake, my heart took off. I grabbed my girlfriends fitbit and it showed my heart beating at 130 bpm, my body now full of adrenaline. I paced around with an ice pack until my heart was back under 100 and then I started to shake violently. I think the adrenaline leaving my body caused this. I was not able to go back to sleep, I layed in bed for hours with that adrenaline rush feeling surging through me, afraid to fall back asleep. Anyone else experience this? I have had EKG and blood work during withdrawal and all were normal. Just when you think things are going good, boom I'm hit by this. Never has my racing heart happened at KGB to, let alone woken me from a dead sleep. Just has me feeling down, scared, wishing this would just all go away.
