anybody stopped smoking during wd?

I really want to quit smoking, but I've read that isn't advisable during WD... I feel like my wd symptoms always get worse after I smoke. Did anybody successfully stop during WD or is it too hard to withdraw from both benzos and nicotine at the same time? For you that did stop, did it help or worsen your withdrawal? How about nicotine patches, yay or nay??

I quit smoking 1 week after my last benzo dose and my depersonalization and derealization become so intense to the point I prayed for death for one week non-stop.

 

Looking back at it now, I don't regret my decision!

I really wan't to quit, I'm coming close to the 7 month mark so maybe it won't be as bad? I don't know... All I know is that I want to feel better than this... And if quitting smoking would help the process I wouldn't hesitate to do it... But if it makes it a hundred times worse... I don't know

I am smoking a lot more in wd. At this point, I can't imagine quitting.  It's a bit of a crutch during all of this.

I have also smoked A LOT more during wd.. But now after every time I've smoked my sxs get more intense. Wondering if it would help the overall healing process? or make it even more unbearable. I might try the patch thing, that way I will get the nicotine without all the other poisons. Don't know, it's all just so fucked up this point I would try anything that might help.
