I just read something and t hen all of the sudden got scared. My heart started to hurt, beat faster a bit, difficulty breathing and negative thoughts of will that is going to happen to me, will I die?....cuz I took the benzo etc...? Are these typical wd symptoms?

Happens to me all the time. I have some sort of mental health hypocondria and if I read anything or even see a movie about schizophrenia (or anything else) I get really scared. God help me if my ex sends me a message.. It could also be just something totally random and I get fearful, but Ive learned to just accept them as thoughts and nothing more.

My symptoms are purely mental, imagine the fears I get when I start losing grip from reality (seriously happens) or some paranoia. My mind amygdala starts bouncing around on a raging bull high on meth and tequila  :idiot::D

Edit. I also have health anxiety..

I read thru some of your old posts. You must hang in there. I san 100% ASSURE you that all your sxs are benzo wd related. You will literally feel better then you ever have when this is lifted. So wait it out because life will be better then before once you do. Look at it as a learning experience and a blip in the road. It DOES get better. Take care!

like horror stories on benzo buddies for example lol.

That is exactly right. I actually read a post about Michael Jackson's death and it triggered me. Sounded funny but not really when it happened

This happens to me as well...can even be something I see on tv.  I quickly stop reading the book or article or whatever or change the channel on tv...it's like I feel like I am being sucked in.  It is slowly getting better.

I certainly feel more sensitive coming of benzos. I have trouble reading or hearing anything that is negative. My reaction is not congruent to the subject. I'm not usually this easily triggered, in my opinion, it's related to withdrawal and I hope to reset to my previous self which was at the very least not so reactive.
