Tingling after eating and drinking water?

Hi guys, I've been on temazepam 15 mg for 10 months due to insomnia caused by Lyme. For the first 5 months, I was able to sleep pretty well. Then I hit tolerance, but it was hard to tell because the withdrawals are very similar to Lyme (and Candida which I also have). It took me 5 months to figure out that part of my symptoms are caused by Temazepam. So I recently started tapering. But even before I started tapering (almost done with my taper), about 1-2 months ago, I noticed reacting to food after every meal. Some foods more than others, which I stopped eating. But now it's reactions after every meal even to foods that are harmless. Even water which isn't supposed to cause me hardships does. I get tingling/itching feelings as well as burning skin and muscle tension. Quite overwhelming. Also happens after cooking, cleaning (even though I use non-toxic stuff), washing (use hypoallegenic stuff), heat exposure, toxic chemical exposure, etc. Hope this is a temporary thing! Even at my worst with Lyme I was never this sensitive!

If simply water causes this I can only guess but I'd beeen thinking to myself it's clearly psychosomatic. This stuff happens during tapers. Something sets us off for one reason or another and it spirals down into everything. It's kind of like being OCD but you're really not OCD. Some might develop a fear of germs, dogs, exercise or anything. It appears you're fearing anything you ingest. Which is serious in that you simply need to eat and drink at least water to survive. Perhaps run this by your doctor. I went through a stage of eating very small morsels of food (when on full doses of my benzos but in tolerance) because when I ate a meal I'd start to shake badly. So gradually this fanned out to the point all I wanted was water. The only thing I could handle was half of an ensure and I became extremely ill. I was living on pills which at times I'd chew to avoid extra water. So it can be serious and I'd definitely contact your doctor. If it's a small thing like avoiding the couch which all of a sudden made you itchy etc that's not a problem so much. Food is a problem and oddly it's not common but not overly rare. I'm ok now but boy was it rough. I feel for you. B
