Do waves and windows happen during taper?

[Ma...]

Recommended Posts

I feel pretty bad all the time on my liquid microtaper. Yesterday I had a 12 hour break from alot of my symptoms. They were still there but much weaker. I could function . Today i am back to fealing terrible again. I have heard people mention waves and windows were they feel better or worse for periods of time. Do they happen during tapering or just after getting off the meds? It seems to be mentioned by people who have already completed their taper only. Thanks for any responses.

this is normal. during my taper I felt ok most of the time, under the klonopin haze, like many benzo users. i had couple moments of feeling great, usually didn't last longer then a day.

the only constant in this process is the unknown

me? under some kind of haze, which appear to lift very slowly from week to week. the not knowing when you going to be 'normal' is the hardest.

OH GOD YES. That's the Crappy Thing about Benzo withdrawal. With other drugs, you get more of the same thing constantly. With Benzos, It COMES AND GOES in waves of different freaky ass bizzare Horrible symptoms. One minute you're fine, the next, you're throwing up, hella shakey and seeing Things and then the symptoms change, progress and chill and repeat, it's the worst DRUG i've ever come off of !!!

I'm tapering off 2 mgs of Ativan and it's not as bad as Cold turkeying it, but still bad enough to not wanna leave your house, let alone, your room.
