So my son had some beer batteries fish he got from a restaurant

 

He doesnt know I'm staying clear from alcohol cause of this

 

I had a small bite

You're fine.  The alcohol (and most of the water) evaporates out of the batter when they cook it.  If there's any alcohol left, it would be just a trace.

They would serve that to children in a restaurant so it will be fine. Like badsocref said it burns off when you cook it.

Yup. No (or trace amounts) of  alcohol left in items that are cooked
