Sorry another progesterone question please

In order to stop my unbearable hot flushes I use an oestrogen patch (highest dose) and I take one micronised bio identical progesterone 100mg capsule per day.

I tapered down from 75mg valium to just under 54mg using daily cuts of 0.2mg and am sleeping ok.

The problem is my anxiety. I have some real life serious non benzo problems, but I don't know if the concurrent use of the bio identical progesterone capsule and valium is making the anxiety worse.

I don't have any other withdrawal symptoms.

I daren't just stop taking the progesterone, I still have a womb, and stopping the progesterone would be like a huge benzo cut.

Can anyone suggest any reasons why my anxiety is so bad, it is particularly bad after a nap. Thanks in advance.

PS please, no horror stories, as I am very mentally fragile.
