Shooting pains in head...anyone ?

I've had some fairly mild shooting pains in my head come and go over the last couple of months but it is now increasing in frequency and intensity.  My hope is (of course) that it is a sign of healing.  I remember reading a post awhile back from a buddie who said he would get a headache and then a symptom would go away.  I'm hoping that will be the case here but maybe that is just wishful thinking. It's painful for a few seconds but then it fades.  It's mostly just annoying but doable and easier to deal with than the dizziness and vision problems I'm also currently having.  Has anyone experienced this symptom and does anyone know what it's all about ?

Oh yeh, the lightning bolt, been there. Right around 4.5 to 5 mos. it was bad, easing up now. But more changes, head sizzling instead of high pitch tinnitus. This time is a roller coaster  Hang Tuff

Ice pick stabs in the head on occasion. Not very pleasant.
