Your worst and kinda ok symptom???

[El...]

Recommended Posts

We have so many symptoms, and it's kinda different from person to person which ones bothering us the most.

Well I've had so many symptoms, I think actually all in the book, but some of them lasted only hours or a day or two.

BUT I have one symptom I hate more than others, and I must say I normally handle most waves very calmly, but right now I'm in a monster wave with several symptoms, and yesterday the NAUSEA joined in.... I simply haaaate it :tickedoff:

I also have one I like or rather had, because sadly enough it's not visiting so often anymore, and I said from the very first time it came to visit.....pleeeeease stay, u can stay forever... it's the burning hot feverish feeling all over the body... well I've never been good handling the cold very much.

Undoubtedly the very worst for me was DP/DR, utterly vile.  Symptoms that are kind of annoying but don't make me feel desperate, are joint pain and insomnia.  When my insomnia was at its worst I was lucky to get 3/4 hours a night of sleep, for many months. Now I sleep OK most nights, although I do wake up about 2-3 times a night and have to go to the toilet every time!

Hi, my worst symtoms is burning head and scalp. Is very painfull and by afternoon is very bad most of the days I'm crying with pain. Than I become very depressed. The rest of the symtoms I can manage. Going for MRI for my neck soon.

Hoping to heal.

It's strange how different symptoms are to different people, the DR/DP hasn't been very severe on me, they've lasted some hours, one two days on and of. While the joint muscle pain is a huge problem for me and is hanging on really tight. My sleep is mainly ok, had one 2-3 week bad insomnia wave, after that it's just improved, but as you, toilets are my fav hanging out place during sleep :)

I'm so sorry u have to deal with this, I never had that, only burning mouth and tongue for thre days or so, I really hope it will lift soon for you.

I've had MRI of my neck, lower back, shoulder, well actually my whole back and my anchels, there where nothing wrong, a little tiredness in my L5 lower back, otherwise my back was like an 18 year old he said....strange that I feel my back is like 118 years old due to w/d.

But it's good for u to get it checked out, it will ease your mind I think :smitten:

worst, most challenging, longest duration in 24h period: anxiety and restlessness, inability to fully relax

very, very rare, but even worse when there: depressive waves, it feels like all my neurons are stuck on super glue

no an issue: physical symptoms, some migraine here and there, twitching, tension, minor gastro

Dp\Dr is the worst for me. I'm going through that at the moment, but it seems to be lifting - it's just a huge headache.

I really hope it lifts soon  :smitten:

Currently my worst symptom is the floaty/woozy head and weird visual perception; like I can't focus.  The things I can live with are burning/nervy spot on my back, racing heart and getting tired easily/jelly legs.

I had some anxiety due to my insomnia wave a month ago, now I don't bother about anxiety anymore, but I know it's a huge problem for many, sorry u have to be ridden by them.

I do recognize the inability to relax, it's sooo exhausting...I've been lucky, I've been able to nap the last two days, but only half an hour. :smitten:

Dizziness vertigo and feeling like a zombie at times. It has gotten better but, not as fast as I want it to.

I've recently got the dizziness, I've had it in a small version before though, but I'm wondering how long u had it?

And I'm sorry u have to cope with the zombies :smitten:

Thanks for answering  :smitten:

Elbette: I see that you took Z drugs. since Z drugs don't do much for anxiety, you probably get less rebound anxiety when getting of them. it seems like Z drugs are the smaller evil, although some people say the opposite.

For me right now the worst is the body buzzing / aching waves. It's really uncomfortable and hard to distract from. Least annoying is the slight neck ache, it started out full on neck pain a couple months back but it's almost gone (I hope).

I got hit with everything under the sun during acute and that lasted a good 6-7 weeks.  The most fascinating thing for me now is feeling the anxiety, like physically feeling it, and how it manifests in different parts of my body. It's not pleasurable by a long shot but I'm amazed by its effects on my body.  The worst thing I'm dealing with is basically getting my mind back.  It would be great to be able to think clearly again.

I kinda get what you mean about the hot flush thing. It only annoys me now if I am in a hot place lol. I've always felt the cold pretty bad, and to the extreme now with WD on top. If I am out in the cold and this one comes on it's kinda like having your own central heating lol. Mine's got better though, and it only comes on now if I move around too much or am already in a warm place, so sorry to break it to you, it does go away lol.  :smitten:

My worst sxs are malaise, lethargy, exhaustion, apathy (as a result) and inner vibrations, I feel like I am being tortured 24/7.

I didn't know that the hot flush thing was a benzo WD symptom. I get these several times every day and also during the night but I thought they were just menopausal hot flashes. So I guess I've got another symptom to add to my list.

I went to psychiatric unit in October because of anxiety attacks, at that time I didn't know it was due to the pills and the fact I've been in tolerance for more than a year. After I went out there after they had tried to add more meds on me, it was a coincidence that I found out about tolerance and I tapered my self, I had some attacks during the taper, but as soon as I found out it was a symptom I managed them quite ok. The first 3 weeks after jump was also quite ok, with symptoms morphing in and out replacing each other, and then bammmm I got hit with a bigggg anxiety panic attack insomnia wave, racing thought yeah u know... all those mental symptoms, deep black depression, and I nearly thought this can't be tolerance or w/d and I was sure I was going crazy mad and there was some serious wrong with me. I then found bb. And I secretly read a lot here, but I didn't have the power or energy to sign up. After I signed up and actually got confirmed that... it was indeed what I was, w/d, I kinda calmed down. I'm a logical and fairly rational person, if I don't know what's wrong or happening, then I'm out of control and I freak out, as soon as I know... ahaaa it's this, then I'm in control I can handle things easier. So when I was confirmed in here, I started to take control, and have approached all my symptoms also the anxiety with: let them come, observe, accept and distract. Also a lot of mindfullness meditation and hypnose apps has helped me a lot. I don't know if ambien is easier or, some people told me ohhh it's ambien, it will be easy... well I still think it's as heavy and a misery as many other of you. Maybe because I reinstated twice ( without knowing ) it makes it a bit harder.

But I think also that to cope with different symptoms is individually, we are different and are coping handling things in different ways, our brains might look the same inside our heads, but mentally we all act, think and solve our life In various ways. I think that has a lot to say. At work and in life generally I'm known as a problem solving person and someone who always finds new ways to a solution. Maybe it's been a benefit fir me during this, I don't know, but I hope so.

But the wave I'm in now is really no fun, and I really don't try to fix or run from it, I just WAAAVE back.

All my best  :smitten:

Had and have them too, they're a pain in the ...  :-X the neck pain has followed me for two years during tolerance, I'm currently in a wave now and the neck pain is back. I did find out that much of my neck pain comes from my biting my jaws/ teeth at night really tight, I use a teeth guard, and I recently discovered I had bit holes through it. Well I haven't used it for a while because I've been feeling slightly ok, so yesterday I thought I should use it gain since this wave is so bad with neck pain, and I'm actually better today. We can only hope and hope and I really hope yours has left the building  :smitten:

Mine is of course the face pulling/pressure!! I also hate that I haven't left the house in a month because I have drive to do anything.

I remember that Flamea, the drive to do nothing, I can only say... I have a drive to do everything now, but my body right now hinders me. Someone told me that when u get an urge to do things, like just thinking in your head, I wanna go travel, I wanna build this, it's a sign that there's been a healing on the serotonin in the brain. It will come back, I promise you :smitten:
