Hi am nine months out now . Fr.o.m. Xanax, I find IT very difficault to concentrate on Books and Tv Is IT common??  Anyone??

I do better with TV than with books, but often forget the plot of a story, or even who some of the characters are.

I have an entire collection of books that are waiting for Nony's reemergence into the world of the living. I used to love reading intellectual stuff but now can't follow. I am 15 months off Xanax, I think. Or maybe I lost count.

But I definitely see some improvement. Before I couldn't read for more than a few minutes and now I can read for longer. But the material needs to be distracting, entertaining, and written with simple language.

Though - if you ask me after what I just read, I'm not sure I'd be able to tell you.

My attention span is totally shot typically I will have six browser tabs open at one time skipping back and forth between them. I actually do better with books than with TV but it is more I have 1000 channels and cannot find anything I want to watch. It is hard to entertain myself but I read as much as possible.
