Hi there,

 

Restarting a new taper from 30mgs valium daily due to previous rapid taper which left me in hell. (Tried to hang myself on Xmas Eve).

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide of some sort which explains how to do a micro liquid taper?

I can only get the 10mg pills so am wondering about the best way of doing cuts (I'm presuming liquid)...

Any help is appreciated at this desperate time.

Hi, sorry to hear, -there is allways a better way, finding it is the trick... a slow micro taper is a real good start...!!

I am still pill splitting for now, but there is lots of info in the tapering plans and micro/liquid tapering forums...  -look under the few dark orange titles at the top of each forum, u will find links to short videos and much info... and posting there will get u good help..

Dissolve 5x10mg tablet (50mg) in 100ml 80-90 proof vodka and add 400ml water.  You will then have 500ml of liquid V, each ml contains .1mg (1mg=10ml)

If you want to start a 15%/month taper rate  (daily cuts .15mg), your daily schedule will be:

 

25mg tablets+5mg (50ml) liquid

25mg tablets+ 4.85mg (48.5ml)

25mg tablets+ 4.70mg (47ml)

25mgtablets+ 4.55mg (45.5ml)

etc...

 

Be sure to take the 2 halves of the split tablets on consecutive days.

 

Your 500ml batch will last approx 10-12 days.

Yes, and if you look at the schedule, you will see it is a 15%/month taper from 30 mg.

My compounding pharmacy made me a liquid strength that wasn't expensive.

I had my doc call it in adn I talked with the pharmacist to get a workable strength.

However, jumping from K to V was hell and I went back to K.
