I joined with my husband as we are both going through this. I have been on Klonopin since 2011 and started on 1 MG by 2015 I was on 3 MG's and due to personal circumstances I ended up on 6 MG from summer 2015 until current. I have not yet quite started my taper but I am not taking it daily nor at the full dosage any longer and take 4 MG twice a week. I also want to note that I am autistic and that presents some social challenges and so I hope that there is some understanding that I don't have the best judgment but with my husband to help me I hope things will be okay, I am here to offer support and hope to not ever misunderstand or offend. So if you will welcome me, I am glad to be here.

I am glad you found us today. The recommended reduction rate is 5 to 10 percent every two weeks. A slow gradual taper is the best way to minimize symptoms.
