Question about Sleep Times

Before I started having this Issue I actually slept more during the day and up at night, now for about 2 years I been Trained to sleep at night....So My Question is the past few days I was up over 36+ hours then I would sleep the following night, Today its the same way I think because my Cough and throat clearing is keeping me awake....

 

I try to sleep during the day but it never happens, I am just wondering since I been training myself for nighttime sleep if thats maybe the reason I can no longer sleep during the day

I think your reasoning is valid and has also happened to me...I used to be a wonderful daytime napper.

What struck me, though, was your comment about throat clearing...me too!!!  It is aggravating for me and anyone near me!!!  I would like to hear more...do you have a chronic feeling of drainage at the back of your throat and lots of nose blowing?

actually ot too much nose blowing but yeah caugh and throat clearing, as if my Getting to sleep was not bad enough now I have that problem also keeping me awake.....

 

Basically I learned if I stay up a night dont bother trying to nap during the day, just wait for the next night and try again, tonight Ill probably take some nyquil

I have had the problem for years...constant throat clearing still tapering clonazepam from 3mg down to 1.5mg a day started my taper on July 1st 2016 been holding for 3 months on 1.5mg dry cutting still very unwell...any way check into hiatal hernia i was diagnosed with one after my throat clearing started...it's acid coming up irritatating your throat making you feel like something is stuck in your throat and you cant clear it.. it's cause the les valve is not closing and allowing stomach acid to come up throghh your esophagus to your throat..check it out research on google..any hope you all are doing well
