Hello,

Oh yes, this was a major issue for me.  Sometimes the muscle and nerve issues were so bad I went to the doctor. After many tests that showed I was "healthy", I chalked it all up to withdrawal.  This was my longest lasting symptom but it did ease up with time. Eventually it went away completely.

Many people find relief with Epsom salt baths, just be sure to rinse off afterwards.  I also used ice and heat, whichever felt better at the time.

Hello,

It is not possible to compare ones withdrawal with another, we are all so different genetically and how we process medications.

My muscle issues lasted about 16 months in varying degrees of discomfort. At times I was able to do a lot, cycle, walk, hike and even play tennis.  I had one strong surge right before I healed and it was rather bad. I even went to the doctor and had a plethora of medical tests, all to come out normal. After this point, my recovery happened and the muscle and nerve pain left for good.

ThEwAy,

I experienced this heavily during my fast taper. I was too tired to exercise so I can't comment on that. To get some relief was to have a hot shower in the morning (hot bath with muscle relaxant in if you have enough time) - I didn't due to work but I had a hot bath every evening. During the day when it was really bad I would take ibuprofen and rub ibuprofen gel on to the areas that were the worst (neck and shoulders).
