I´ve been taking Sobril for about 3 years and my daily dose are 80mg. I just started to cut down the dose but find it very very difficult due to the sideeffects and need some support.....

Welcome to Benzo Buddies!  I'm sorry you are feeling strong effects while trying to taper the sobril. The reason for this could be due to a too fast or too aggressive taper. We'll be happy to provide information and support for you. With good information you'll find the plan that works for you and with time and patience you'll be benzo free. Mrwrong will be Mrright!

 

A slow taper can help to minimize withdrawal symptoms. Generally a reduction of no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days is suggested. Of course, it's important to listen to your body and adjust if necessary. I'll give you a link to the General Taper Plans for additional information.

 

I'll also give you a link to the Ashton Manual, it is an excellent resource about these types of drugs and how to withdraw. It was written by Dr. Heather Ashton, an expert in the field.
