I've tried Lexapro for a few days while in Ativan withdrawals, and it only made my anxiety worse. I tried 5mg and it was too much. I cut it in half and tried 2.5mg and it was still too much. From what I've felt, Lexapro felt harsh on my body and made my anxiety worse, prompting the need for more ativan. Perhaps, your body is telling you that it is finding 25mg of Lexapro a little too much to deal with.
