I feel bad, strange, like premonitions

I had an awful night, I felt like my heart was going to stop any second, I was falling asleep and jumped awake becasue I felt my heart was stopping. Today I'm very anxious, still have to conciously breathe, feeling very weird like something is going to happen, scary...

Bee for me this is anticipatory anxiety loud and clear. Bad night leads to very very apprehensive day. I've been through this many times. Worse thing in the world. If possible do anything to distract yourself and yes remember to breathe.  Nothing bad is going to happen no matter how you feel. It's very similar to fearful out of the blue premonitions that aren't based in fact. Just totally in anxiety. Distractions if possible. B

That's a textbook description of general anxiety...the feeling that there is an unidentifiable, unknown catastrophe looming just ahead.

That's definitely anticipatory anxiety, I have it too regarding panic attacks, I'm always anticipating the next one which is not helping at all, it really helps to distract yourself, watch a movie or do something that you enjoy

I have this real bad too...it's all to do with fear but just remember FALSE EVIDENCE APPERING REAL...

Thank God nothing happened, but I'm so anxious and not know what to do. I feel bad if I take my dose and feel bad if I don't take it. Someone from my FB group told me that she had to taper fast because the Valium was causing parodoxical effects, I don't know if that's my case...I cut down to 25mgs today, hoping I don't feel that bad...
