Yes ,I'm going through the same thing. I have severe social anxiety and it's harder now. However,I'm in CBT and I strongly recommend you get these two books by Claire Weekes. "Peace From Nervous Suffering " and A Simple, Effective Treatment for Agoraphobia. It helps and many reviews of people totally recovering and living normal lives again. Get the books , read them and practice and practice.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I have bad social anxiety as well. i used to take xanax and klonopin for it but they quit working so i switched to valium and now i'm tapering. A couple things that have helped me through situations i really feared was to chew gum, exercise regularly, eat healthy and maintain a stable blood sugar level, deep breathing(when calm starting out), and prayer(not sure if you are into that or not). Just my $.02

Not happy with that social anxiety....Self confidence very iffy...And I look like crap.    so I can see partly why I've been hiding out. Then there is the fact I have no idea what mood I'm in at any given time right now.....I guess I'm saying  maybe that plays apart I am hoping as healing goes that will improve.  Good topic.
