Ummm... codeine... ummm

It will work great... as will oxycontin or any other opiate type drug... -but pls dont...

It is just masking sx and will make things worse in the long run...

-i guess, in theory, one could even do a complete c/o to opiates, but if that opiate were codeine, i would guess one would be taking dozens of tablets in no time... and if it is a mixed active ingredient  tablet, like otc with say panadol, ur liver wont thank u at all... with a c/o or just using it as a cushion, the drama and interaction risks of playing with debatably the most addictive drug out, is just not worth it...

I would much rather slow my taper and reduce my cuts on a benzo, than initiate codeine...

Now, i kinda feel like a hypocrite, as i do still take a tiny amount of codine... but for a totally different reason... but wont bore u with that...

-and i do use a cushion when needed, -just not that...

certainly not the first time the question has been asked, and wont b the last... -as it is a valid question...

As allways, my opinion from my experience with opiate type meds... and it is a personal choice...

Its even hard to say which would b hardest to come off, as i used valium as my cushion to get off the opiates...!!! But i know which would be harder for most people to get scripts for...

Anyone else got thoughts??
