Agitated??

Does anyone notice they get easily agitated/angry at things that really never bothered them before? Sometimes noise,especially repetitive, bothers  me to the point I have to wear ear plugs or headphones.

4 of my 5 children live at home, so of course, I know what NORMAL agitation/noise is. I have a hard time handling even the slightest stress! It's definitely not my norm. It always seems to be the worst 24 hours after I cut and then it eases up when I'm 80% recovered from my last cut. For example, I wanted  to punch a hole in the wall for no reason...YIKES! FYI...no I didn't punch a whole in the wall  or do any damages. I still have self control at this point. Thank Goodness!!!

Lol... -YES... -i had to explain the sensory sensitivity to my 14yo... -worked for a week or so... -now he uses it to annoy me...!!!

Who would b a parent!!! Lol -im lucky hes the youngest...

Sorry, but i havnt got an answer that im game to post here... -but i will say, hes fast... lol...

I guess recognising it and having a pre planned out or exit fron the situation, until ballance or something close is restored... easier said than done... let me know when u got it sussed...

I find that on Klonopin I lose my temper very easily if I'm not careful. My avatar speaks for itself. I'm starting back on my taper. I tapered too fast and had to start over at .75MGs daily. I was at 8MGs of Xanax so there is an improvement. I found I did better emotionally on Ativan and wanted to continue my taper off of that but my doctor said no. They all suck but IMO I think from personal experience and what I read on this forum Klonopin is the worst. I think .75MGs of Klonopin is equal to 3MGs of Ativan and my doctor won't go above 1MG of Ativan daily. I don't do well on Klonopin. I'm glad you posted!

Can I say an amen here.  Agitation central last night and today.  Sorry guys but its that special time of the month (putting that lightly) and given that progesterone drops you are more likely to feel the cuts given that progesterone works on gaba receptors so with the sudden drop of it the body then realizes that some of the K is missing and holy sh*t.  I cried, slammed the door to my room, screamed into my pillow for a while and almost threw shit around my room.  My adult son just stayed clear and did not know what to do.  Withdrawal sucks. Throw in hormones and double suck.  And yes Klonopin is a beast.  I hate it and it does not like me either.  It's like it has tentacles and reaches into every inch of your body.  Thanks for posting.  Wow, I just felt some releasing of rage while I was writing this.
