Dry Taper Plan using Gemini-20 Scale and Emery Board

Ordered a Gemini-20 gram scale from eBay and used my wife's emery board to shave off tiny cuts.

 

12/11 - Started taper. Shaved off 0.1mg (wt) from 0.5mg Clonazepam pill using emery board.  Pill weight is now 0.16mg.

 

12/12 - Started shaving off .001-.003mg (wt) everyday.  Note that every 0.1mg weight reduction is about 0.0295mg Clonazepam.

 

Fast forward to 01/14. After shaving .001-.003mg everyday, pill weight is now 0.084mg, equivalent to 0.25mg Clonazepam.  Very minimal withdrawal sxs.  So far, so good. At this rate, I will be able to jump off by mid February.

 

I think shaving off .001-.003mg each day allowed my body to adjust very slowly, instead of a sudden 10% reduction every 2-3 weeks.  I did not feel the need to 'hold' during the process.  I hope this continues until I am free.
