does wd anxiety gets worse before it gets better?

I am 4 3/4 months  off of med. for a while anxiety seemed like it let up some. now at 4 3/4 months  it comes back rough. is this the worse before it gets better?

Hi Momack, I am at 13 months and that is my biggest problem right now. I really believed I would be healed by now so it is very frustrating and I feel like it will never get any better. All we can do is take it day by day minute by minute and someday we will get better. Just hang in there.

I am a similar length of time to you, off completely.  I still get anxious about stuff, I think that whatever drove you to take meds in the first place will not have gone away and one still needs to deal with this, by means other than medication.
