Restless legs, depression, insulin resistance and insomnia share genes

Fascinating Meowie, thanks for posting.

I definitely have a history of depression + anxiety. And, there is no doubt it is genetic. My mom's side has the depression and my dad's side has the anxiety - and I apparently was lucky enough to inherit both. My parents are weird sleepers, too. My mom will wake up a lot at night, sometimes will be awake for awhile - my dad swears he only needs 5 hours a night but I know he sleeps more b/c he falls asleep watching TV!

Super interested in how technology might be involved in genetic testing in the future. I know they have it now for some psych meds, but would be great if it could be used to help people, and even in a preventative way rather than waiting til the sh*t hits the fan. Maybe implementing things that are more natural rather than medicating people later.
