7 months

Well I've made it to 7 months. I've been doing a lot better the last month but the last few days have been horrid again. I really, really struggle to keep pushing forward. It's hard for me to not think about the time I've already spent suffering and feel hard done by. I've accepted my situation, and block it out a lot of the time and don't think about it. But when it comes back in to my mind I get really angry/down. It's just a disgrace that people have to go through this. I simply just don't want to do the time that's required.

Yep - I completely get you.  I hate going to bed these days because I know how I'm going to feel when I get up.  I've been feeling poisoned every morning since - well- I don't know anymore.  I've lost track.  I don't feel like my sxs are budging.  I've had the same sore throat for weeks and too afraid of a stupid antibiotic because I can't imagine trying to cope with more than what I am dealing with now.  It certainly is like doing time.

Today in the salon chair  of all placesI struggled with "What's the point?"  I'm only a few months out and it's like the Bataan Death March.  WBB

WBB thanks for posting. I really need a cortisone shot in my hip so I can get back to running but apparently steroids can really flare everything up so I'm scared of doing it. Similar to your throat situation. How can you have hope during this?

Glad to hear you are hanging in there Shamo!! I passed 7 months on December 31st and it is still hard not to get down because I don't feel as good as I had hoped for 7 months out. It is good you have found acceptance and I am right with you on that.  I realize I can't fight this situation- I can only push forward one day at a time hanging on to the hope that some day I will be healed. Best wishes to you for a better 2017!

Congrats on the 7 months. I am glad to read that you had been doing better. That will return :smitten: You have already served about 212 days of your sentence. Hopefully you will be paroled soon. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
