Chest/head symptoms

I was lying down this evening trying to calm my mind and body down when I started having these moments of pressure going up from my chest through my head. It would last about 5 seconds then disappear.

I've looked through the benzo withdrawal symptom lists and cant find anything that matches that- any thoughts? anyone ever experience this?

The traveling pressure has stopped but I still have pressure and tightness in my chest and throat.

I did have a lot of chest pain, still get little pinches once in a while. I had to go on a beta blocker because my heart would not stop racing. After a complete heart workup nothing was found.

It really did help to have the checkup because then I didnt have to worry about it anymore

I get chest pressure too but not travelling. Its probably nothing dad but a trip to your Dr to rule things out wouldnt hurt

I've had a heart checkup - just a few weeks ago I had an echo and ekg.  All is well.  My heart actually improved from my last echo.

I have chest pressure and racing heart too. My heart rate goes up very easily at even the slightest exertion and sometimes even when I'm just sitting and relaxing. For some reason eating seems to cause my heart to start racing so I'm trying to just eat little bits at a time rather than a full, heavy meal. That seems to help a bit.

Thanks for the replies. It's not a constant symptom just random so I'm trying to just accept it. Man it's hard to accept these symptoms.

Dad, i think maybe... but more from lower neck through back of jaw then up to near ears...

Its new for me, and a warm tight pressure, not strong enough to worry me atm...

Sorry, prob not much help...

But for me, it is a sx.

head pressure especially the frontal lobe of the brain / forehead from sleep deprivation / insomnia. That burning feeling in Your forehead at 3am when Your brain is begging for sleep and it does not happen. Instead Your hit with a wave of other symptoms on top of that.

I have had some chest symptoms which are usually caused from tight muscles or smooth mussel contractions in the digestive tract from the elevated cortisol. Good ole fight or flight stuck in the on position 24/7 courtesy of Benzo withdrawal.
