Hot shower on neck

Physical symptoms caused from withdrawal from this crap such as electric extremities, tight restless body experiences, etc is just pure hell. Nothing we can do it seems, except to try various other substances or methods, and wait it out to see if it gets better over time, or to no back on the poison for relief (which we know not to do). Anyway, for me I recently found that when done cleaning from a shower, I just let the hot water run on the back of my neck and head which seems to have some relaxing effect. For me it's no cure of the physical ailments this drug has caused, but it does feel good while doing it.

I totally agree - warm water (shower, bath, water bottle, or my favorite - the hot tub) can be very relaxing.

Good to hear.  I can't do Jacuzzi though because of the crap Ativan and going off it seems it has permanently made the nerves in my skin sensitive to excessive heat. The warm water on the neck in a shower seems ok though for a minute or two.

I only run my hot tub at 100-101F.  It's more like a warm bath than a hot tub.  I can (and do) sit in there for hours, stare up at the night sky and lose myself.

I find it too hot bath is helping me. Every day I'm sitting in my tub for 2 hrs before bedtime. Is helping me to relax my nerve and even my anxiety gets better.
