YEP! I am almost 8 months out but at 5 months I had not just a wave, a huge setback. I lost all hope it was so bad. It lasted 6 weeks. It was worse than acute. But once over, I started to improve. Still not well but functioning. I survived and I'm guessing you will too. Hold on and dont let go. It wont be forever. Good luck!

Yes, I'm currently at 5 months,  one week away from 6 months.  I started struggling horribly about 3 weeks ago, and it's been worst than acute. It's debilitating. But,  I see small improvements so I'm trying to hang in there. From what I've read, 5th month is he'll for lots of people.  I know it gets better. So hang on, you are getting better.

What is it with klonopin and month 5?  I have seen this sooooo many times, and it is almost always klonopin.  I know klonopin has a slightly different affect on the GABA receptors than the other benzos.  I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

I am 12 months off but at month 5 or 6 the symptoms came back with a vengeance.  Hang in there and you will break through to another window. They seem to come faster the longer I go.  We will all heal eventually.  I literally thought it was hopeless but it has improved.  Hope that gives you some hope.

I was on klonopin and also in month five. I have had moments of windows and then moments of misery. I wake up every day and never know what to expect. Symptoms changing constantly. Trying so hard to accept this, but really struggling. Have new symptom of nausea and abdominal pain the last 3 days. 3 hours of sleep the past 2 nights. Had shoes on to go to the hospital at 5am this morning, but got scared of what meds they would give me. Anxiety started going and I started feeling numb and twitchy. Worried I would have panic attack at hospital and that they would give me benzo. So I stayed home. Now feeling a window at the moment. What a roller coaster! I am sorry we are all suffering with this and grateful for the support. Hang on!

Hi Bernerd.  I was happy to come across your post but am sorry you are feeling ill.  It's a good reminder for all of us in withdrawal.  For me it seemed to be smooth sailing (except sleep) since the New Year.  Now, however, I am getting some nausea and back/abdominal twitching/spasming.  Yuk.  I forgot I wasn't out of the woods......

Hope you will be feeling a lot better very soon.

Thanks, so true I'm right there. Thank God for the windows thus far or I'd lost all hope..........

That's what I hold onto as well. The fact that I've been through this before,  and got 100 percent better, and I will again,  and so will you.
