Temazepam success stories?

[te...]

Recommended Posts

I've been researching for temazepam withdrawal success stories online and there aren't a lot! There's many about ativan, xanax, valium, etc., but where's all the temazepam stories? Is it something relatively easy to get off?

I've been taking it for almost a year (10 months to be exact) of 15 mg and last Friday started taking 7.5 mg because 3 months ago I built up tolerance towards it with very severe neurological and psychiatric issues, plus GI issues as well. I thought Lyme got worse (was diagnosed 2 years ago), then I thought it must be Candida. It's only last week did I connect the dots that many of the symptoms I experience could be due to temazepam. I never had such severe symptoms pre-benzo taking.

While the withdrawal symptoms are uncomfortable for me, they aren't that different from what I experience everyday, so I am hoping to get off temazepam fairly quickly, especially with the help of acupuncture. Let me know if you know anyone with success of their own! =)

I took Tamazepam for 2 yrs. at first I started with 15mg, then that didn't put be to sleep, so we increased it to 30 mg. I was told to only take it every 3 days so I wouldn't get addicted, but pretty soon I was using it every night because I couldn't sleep at all without it. Then I started to get neuropathy in my feet. I went to many doctors and chiropractors but no one could find out what was causing it. Then While researching the drugs I was taking to see if they could be the culprit I discovered that it was the Tamazepam causing it as I was in tolerance withdrawal. I sent fir the Ashton manual and convinced my doctor to help me taper off.

I tapered for 14 months. I'm now in my 38th month and still sick. My biggest issue is being off balance.  I feel like I'm on a rocking boat 24/7. Still get some stinging skin, but it's getting better.

I thought I'd done in a year. Now Im starting my 4th.

Hope I didn't scare you. Remember everyone is different. Some people heal much faster. Hope you will be among them.

I'm a success story in progress if that helps.  Using Ashton's method I am on my last 1.25. I was on 30mg for a good amount of time. Probably 6 months?

Now I'm on both Klonopin and the Valium equivalent of temazepam so I have another monster to slay but I can do it.

I think I'm a success story.  Used Temazepam to help with sleep after a back injury.  Realized just recently that things were not right (memory, focus, etc).  Decided to get off see signature.  Feeling great, focus is returning, not instantly but I can tell I'm getting better.  Sleep is great, having dreams again which is nice.

I am not a succes story , been on temazepam for 4 months last year , stopped almost cold turkey and 4 months severe waves every 2 days (average) . The waves became less severe , but I still have

annoying wave days , about every three days I still have a 'tinnitus wave' day and mostly I feel tired on these days .  I sleep only 5 to 6 hours.
