Skiing and taping ?? - Should I hold ?

Hey

 

Today I am on 8,66 mg

 

I have been on hold for days in the Christmas and New Year.

 

But next Friday 20. jan I am going to Norway for skiing with my wife and kids.

 

I am not sure that I am able to tap and still do quite hard exercicing (skiing makes you SWEATH) and tap at the same time. + just be a little social on "after skiing" (i dont drink alcohol - just never liked it) - makes taping very hard.

 

So I feel a little "taking a day off" by going on hold Again.

 

I will have to go on hold for about 12 days .

 

What would you do in my situation ? Try to make it or go on hold ?

Definitely hold until after the holiday, then start tapering again when your ready, lots of people,  do it as you don't want to end up on bad withdrawal then having to travel on top.  And it won't hurt you or your taper, holding sometimes is a good thing as it allows your body to catch up with the cuts top :) I am holding now as my symptoms got unbearable and will taper again when I feel and know the time is right to continue.

I'll second Nova's advice. I've tapered during family holidays and ended up basically ruining them for everyone. I'd imagine that's part or the reason I'm now divorced :)

Yes I'd hold. I'd hold for the benefit of my family to be honest. It's their holiday too so I'd clearly want to be at my best if possible. Enjoy the slopes. B

I would say hold 😊. I will do a long hold now. I noticed how good a longer hold was when I hold 5 weeks between my cuts than 2 or 3 weeks. I felt normal.  I will hold longer now from my last cut 7 January until April 11. I am going from Sweden to India for 2 weeks holiday. My brain really like the hold 😊
