Feeling emotionless/robot brain

26 days ago I decided to kick a Xanax/phenbut addiction cold turkey which I was going through for about a year. For about a year I would take 6mg of xanax a day and around 30 grams of phenibut 4 times a week.After quitting 26 days ago i went through extreme anxiety/insomnia for about a week then around my 8th day of quitting I noticed i lost all my emotions. My question is did any one experience emotional numbness/ Anhedonia after quitting, and does it go away with time?

I think it does, but the key word is "time."  It can't be rushed... just gotta let the receptors in the brain have the time they need to begin working correctly once more.  Hang in there.
