IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP WITH MY LT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

I'm in desperate need of some help with my LT.

I'm on 12.5mg Valium. And have reduce to 11.9mg.

I am prescribed 5mg tablets. So I dose three times a day.

I was on

5mg morning

2.5 mg  afternoon

5mg night.

I've been using the milk titration method.

So half my 5mg tablet and dissolve 2.5mg in 100mls of milk. So 0.025mg/ml

I then pull an extra ml out each morning and then take the other half of the tablet.

I the. Take the rest of my doses in tablet form.

Which means I'm only reducing my morning dose at the moment and the others remain the same.

I need HELP to even this out. As I'm worried this is not keeping my serum levels consistent throughout the day.

Main WD symptoms tinnitus. Extreme body pain. DP. No notivation. Exhausting fatigue. Difficulty getting to sleep. Agrophobia. Intrusive thoughts. Sensory issues.

I'm warning to go slow so I can function as much as possible. I'm off work. So I can get off this and get well.

I also have lupus and fibromyalgia diagnosed before going on benzos. So have that to contend with.

ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Because of its long half-life, your blood levels will stay fairly level without worrying about balancing your doses.  Most folks do just fine on 2 doses a day, and many even do fine on a single dose.  V is not like a fast acting, short half life benzo like xanax or ativan.

Dissolve the whole 12.5 mg in 125 ml milk.  Take 62.5ml AM and 62.5ml PM.  Reduce the total dose by 1ml each day.

I also take tablets for the other doses. Will I need to hold again to get use to going to full liquid dosing.  Or is there a way I can keep going with dry and liquid.

Thank you so much for your reply.  I was hoping to microtaper. Will going fro dry and liquid mean I need to hold while  getting use to all liquid?

And with interpose withdrawals shall I keep to the three times a day dosing or two will be fine? I know Valium is longer acting but I had been very sick with tolerance withdrawals.  This has got better since tapering.

My last cut was 4 percent over 20 days. Which made me hit a wall.

Also want do you think about using milk. I had tried the alcohol water method but got strong WD on it.  So swapped to milk.

Sorry to swamp you with questions. I appreciate your help.

No, just switch.  You'll be fine.

Twice a day should be fine, but do whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Then I guess I would stay with milk.
