Anyone switch from Valium back to Ativan and do well.

  Dr. has suggested I try to go back to Ativan and taper that since I have been so sick trying to taper the Valium.  Has anyone on the board done this and had success?  I know Rosegal did it but looking for others who might have.  I am scared but at this point willing to try anything.  Thanks for the help.

Sorry you are struggling freeme. Laineyk also switched back and forth between valium and ativan and had a hard time with it. At one point I tried to switch from valium back to klonopin and it was pretty bad, although there were a lot of other changes going on at the same time. I hope you can find a way forward and things get easier soon.

  Thanks, Yeah I see Lainey on here and we talk.  She is having a very rough time also.  I am looking for people who did it and it worked out better for them.  Doesn't look like there are many, I'm getting no hits so far.  Thanks anyway for trying to help.

I switched back and forth and that was not my problem...my problem was trying to taper off those tiny .5mg pill of lorazepam

 

I up until now been snapping my honking big valium pills in 1/2 & 1/4's

 

it was the ease of the pill...I do NOT like how either made me feel  but I will say that I was less sick on the lorazepam

 

no going back now...My back is right up against the wall

 

 

In another week I will be under 3 mgs!!!!  never thought I would have saw that happening
