Muscle symptoms

Recommended Posts

What are your muscle symptoms? Today mine are worse than usual. The muscles of my head, jaw, neck, and upper back feel tight. Sometimes it makes talking difficult. Also, my leg muscles feel sore and tight. It hurts to walk. These feelings move around and come and go throughout the day.  Also. I get twitching, especially in my toes. I can also get feelings like popcorn popping under my skin. It really revs my anxiety. Do your symptoms change all the time? I did not have this muscle stuff at the start. It started within the past 2 weeks. I don't like when new symptoms come.

I have had severe muscle issues since a few weeks after stopping the clonazepam.  I am currently on a non-benzo muscle relaxer.  Without it, I can't walk, and my arms and legs just flail around aimlessly, I have no control over them.  I have to start physical therapy and start weaning off the muscle relaxer soon.  I don't know what is going to happen.

Muscle and nerve pain in upper shoulders and neck are intense.  This started while I was in interdose withdrawal but was tolerable.  It has since become chronic.  I've tried physical therapy with some success plus acupuncture.

Sometimes I ache all over like having the flu.  Other times, it's more localized like in the neck, shoulder blades or in the upper stomach area.  Also get the twitching and buzzing feeling at any time, too.

I've had experience with the muscle tightness in the neck and jaw area as well. You said that there have been times that you couldn't talk.......me too! It was painful to talk! The anxiety and panic that goes with it was bad as well. Early on I had trouble with walking at times. Legs felt like rubber! New symptoms? Yes to that too! It's like my body says, hey, here's something else that will make you uncomfortable.
