Am I going to fast or slow in my Diazepam taper?

Hello, I am tapering off Diazepam, the last mg of what was a low dose to start with. I didn't decrease much (I don't think) over the holidays. Doing liquid taper and went from 91 ml to 84 ml with some few-day holds from December 1 through 31. I want to reduce at a rate of 1/2 ml a day, but am having symptoms...today a bit more than usual. Is that too fast or too slow? Since Jan 1st I have gone down from 83 ml to 80 1/2 today. I am not feeling so great today, and have not been well enough to go to church Sundays or anywhere really except walks and to pick or groceries already purchased online since late October. Every day there is some period of time that I don't feel well, some symptoms have gotten better, but there is never a day that is good from start to finish. I guess I read about some here who are able to be out and about, working, etc., while tapering, and I have never really been able to do that.

I need advise or reassurance that what I'm doing is right. I hope I am mixing the liquid right, I crush 2 2mg Diazepam in a enough vodka to cover bottom of my beaker, allow to sit a bit and then add water to 400 ml and stir well before putting in storage bottle. I shake well before drawing what I take each day.

Thanks for any thoughts. There are many helpful posts here, but today I'm having a hard time digging through to find answers.

Very few people ever taper without some sxs.  If your sxs are moderate, and not increasing, I would just stay the course.

But...if your sxs are seriously interfering with your life, or are intensifying, then I would hold, and/or slow my taper rate.

Thank you builder...does the rate I'm going look reasonable? I guess I would say they are moderate...I can overthink things which doesn't help.

That's actually a pretty conservative rate.  It would seem unlikely that you would have significant sxs at that rate.
