How long can I keep klonopin milk in fridge?

I have been preparing my klonopin doses a few days ahead. Is this ok? Will the medicine keep its potency? I saw someone on here say they prepare it the day they take it?

1) It does NOT need to be refrigerated.  Lower temps actually reduce solubility.  It can easily be stored for 10 days, 2 weeks on the  shelf, at room temp.

2)  There will be no loss of potency, no matter how long it's stored.

we do not need to keep our klonopin milk in the fridge? I did not realize lower temps reduce solubility.

Sorry, I missed the "milk" part.  My info was for alcohol or PG based liquids.  :-[ :-[

Yes, of course milk solutions need to be refrigerated.  But there is no reason to be concerned about the stability or potency of the K.  It will last many times longer than the milk itself will.

thank you I just about had a heart attack. Builder I'm not sure what you used to liquid titrate but if you had to do it over would you use PG or milk?

I used Rx liquid (Roxane Diazepam Oral Solution).

If I had not had a caring doc to write my scrips, I would have done the vodka method.  *

Milk would have been my  last choice because 1) I don't like milk, and 2 because of the refrigeration/storage issue.

* PG will work just as well.

builder out of curiosity is xanax soluble in milk? Or should I say is milk a good alternative for titrationing xanax, I heard it does not bind to the fat in the milk.

It's going ok. After a week I got used to preparing the milk. At first I was a little unsure of what I was doing. I don't like having to drink milk three times a day. You will find it is easy. Just take your time and remember to draw out your dose. A couple of times I forgot. Also my pills take a whole day to dissolve. I watched people do it on youtube and their pills dissolved real fast. I guess it depends on how differant manufacturers make these pills.

hi Matty yes I've heard from many people dissolve for 24 hours. My pills are Mylan which are

hard so probably will take that long. OK just checking to see how milk was going for you. Thanks for the reply! Nicole

Hey Nicole. My pills are TEVA brand. I found that if I brake the pills in halph and shake the jar a few times throughout the day they dissolve alot quicker. I usually make it the day before just so I don't have to deal with that problem. Also I measured out the ml, poured it in my jar and put a line on the jar where that level would be so I don't have to measure the milk everytime. So i just pour the milk in the jar up to the line and drop the pills in. Then all you have to do is take out your ml with the syringe daily since that will change. Keep me posted. We look to be about in the same boat with our dosage.

great idea about marking the jar as I was wondering how I was going to get the milk from container to jar without wasting any each time or having to pour it back in the jug. I have the flu right now so trying to get better then I'm going to start drinking the milk without reducing to get adjusted to drinking it. I've heard drinking it at first feels like a cut, which I am terrified of because I cannot handle that right now. Some say no difference. Do you dose on a full stomach? I've heard different people have varying opinions about that. I'm starting doing dry and liquid so hopefully the adjustment won't be so bad. I want this poison out of my body! Unbelievable what it has done to me. Nicole

Hey Nicole. I did worry about switching to milk but I worry about everything. It went fine and I had no problems. It's just weird no longer taking pills but you just have to remember the pills are still there just in the milk. I don't have much of an appetite in the morning so I take it on an empty stomach and have no problems. Milk isn't my favorite thing to drink by itself but it's a small amount. You will see how easy it is once you start. I worried alot to before I started but now it's no big deal. Remember to mark the jar with a marker then put clear tape over the mark. If you don't the mark will wash off. I do my whole dose in milk then divide it into three smaller containers since I dose three times a day. I just eyeball how much is in each container. Hope you feel better soon. then getoff these horrible pills. Any questions just ask.

hi Matty yes I dose three times a day too. Thank you for your encouragement. I really need it right now. Yes worrying. Nature of the beast.  :) yes I'll have to mark the jar and tape it.  I was wondering how I was going to handle that. Thank you again and please write me whenever you want. Nicole

Thanks Nicole. I forgot to tell you. I got my titration spreadsheet off benzosupport.org. Any questions just ask. It took my benzobrain a little while to figure that part out.  :idiot:

hi yes I had that spreadsheet and couple other ones and for weeks couldn't get my numbers to equal what I wanted monthly and it was driving me insane. I want to do a symptom based taper but also need a spreadsheet or Id be completely lost. I got so frustrated I hired somebody on upwork, it's a freelance site and I hired an excel expert. It was the best $40 I ever spent. None of the spreadsheets I had had the percentage from the last months ending dose, the most important thing. They were cumulative from beginning dose. So anyway I got that issue taken care of. I think the freelancer thought I was nuts but she did it lolol.  ;D

Haha. I'm just following the rules I read on benzosupport.org. Stay below 1% daily drop( i'm actually much lower than that) and keep the two week percentage below 10%. I'm going to have to adjust it from time to time because if you follow them to the end the reduction rate would be way too fast. I don't know what else to do. If I followed my symptoms I would never cutback. Haha. I feel like crap all the time anyway. Do you notice that everyday you feel differant? It's like everyday sometimes every hour presents differant weird symptoms. As far as people on here saying they feel stable. I never do. It's like a rollercoaster ride for me. This morning I put my milk back in the cabinet and the cereal box in the fridge. duhhhhhh.  :idiot:

yea I never know what each day will bring. I feel like crap all the time too lol. I have read from many people they actually start feeling somewhat better after they start tapering. I could see truth to that to some degree. I've been holding for awhile now after massive cut and still symptomatic. The other day I cried all day, yesterday heart was lower than usual, today super dizzy and exhausted. Yes everyday is different. Oh and putting cereal in fridge I do that kind of stuff all day lol. I'll forget what I walked in room for, I can't write that good my handwriting is almost unreadable. Brain cog fog to the max. I forget everything. I'll forget how to spell words. I tried starting a journal, that lasted two days lol. Waking up is the worst for me. My body gets super hot and I'm all shaky. It's like waking up from a nervous coma. So yes everyday symptoms change, some days worse than others, like me biting down so hard I probably was going to break my teeth has been gone for a few days. Yayyyy lol

If you can get the orange pills from Accord, they dissolve quickly and beautifully. I got fed up with the others. I'm making a topical solution in heavy cream, and I like to be able to use it right away.
