Fear/Terror Demons os Aliens?

Im at the 7 month mark and by no means am i  "cured." I have myriad physical issues but thankfully the fear and terror has subsided to a manageable level at about the 5 month mark. My terror was so intense (mostly at night in the dark) that it truly felt like demons and/or aliens had intruded into my bedroom. I saw a 3 foot long rat like creature with fangs jump out of my ceiling speeding towards my face. One of the dark curtains became a very tall angry gray alien walking toward me and he looked VERY pissed off. All of this was amplified by my full speed glutamate infused brain. These hallucinations were so real and at the time it was difficult to stay calm and ignore them. Terror has been my worst symptom up to this point and im so grateful its subsided. Im curious  if anybody has had the type of terror i listed above?

O yes I had a full blown psychotic terror attack. I thought the demons were in my house messing with my stuff. It felt like the demons from hell had taken over my mind. I would hear voices and babies crying. It was scary AF. It felt so real and noone could tell me it was all in my head, because I thought I was truly the chosen one to be taken over by the devil.

I used to get this even when I wasn't in panic mode.  All kinds of scary "shadows" and demon faces.  It subsided for me after my eyes finally cleared up some in December.  (Although recently my eyes went a little fuzzy again, so I am starting to see them again, but no where near as badly)

Interesting post, and one that isn't talked about often, although I suspect it happens to more people than just us..?

 

Anyway, yes, when I first dropped from 3.5 mg of clonazepam to 1.0 mg (as my first cut in my taper), I really went haywire.. I was binge watching a scary show called, "my haunted house" and I started to think that I had channeled some evil ghosts into my house through my TV set.

 

I began to completely think my house was now haunted and that I'd done it to me and my gf.. This lasted a few weeks, and I was really going off the deep end.  I was burning sage and praying and all kinds of shit.. Fuck.. It's only funny now in hindsight!

 

That first cut from 3.5 to 1.0mg really threw me for a loop.  I had NO idea about clonazepam w/d at that point and wasn't educated at all about tapering (obviously).. I've had a few other "haunting" type feelings, but no where near that bad again..

 

Thanks for bringing this up, and I'm sorry for all of these terrible experiences we've had.. I can't wait till we're all better from this shit..
