Valium pills kept in a cold temperature

Lately my withdrawal symptoms have been fluctuating like crazy and I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out why. I have two pill bottles of Valium I use for my liquid taper and one of them spent a month or so in my car where the temps got pretty cold. Any chance those pills lost potency due to temperature changes? The awful symptoms may correspond with that bottle, but it's hard to tell. I try to answer my questions by searching the board, but this is a hard subject to search. I'm extremely appreciative for any help!

No, no chance.  Benzos in general, and especially diazepam, are extremely stable meds, and can safely be kept for years, even under extreme conditions.  And low temps are actually ideal.

I highly doubt the colder temps had any affect on the pills. But I would ask Builder for verification on that. Hopefully he will chime in.
