Help with liquid Klonopin taper

Hey guys. So I had tapered myself down to 1.5 mg's Klonopin from 2.5 by liquefying .5 in 100 mL's of milk and making 10% reductions at first and then slowing down to 5% when I got slammed by side effects (and taking the rest of the dose dry). I updosed to 2.0 which hasn't done much but wanted to wait and see what my new psychiatrist thought about trying a proper Ashton Valium crossover. She is not on board so I am ready to resume tapering.

 

However, instead of doing it partially dry I think I should probably do a full liquid taper. I just don't know how many mL's to use for 2 mg's or how much to pull for a slow (i.e. 5% or less) taper as I'm terrible with math to begin with let alone with benzo brain and constantly feeling as though I'm going to have a stroke. Any help you could provide in setting this up would be great, thanks.

There really is a wide range of mixes that would work. At your dose and assuming you need to be less than 10% a month, a  .01mg/ml liquid should be fine for quite a while using a 1ml syringe. So, if you put  2mg into 200ml of milk it should work out for quite a while.

No, fractions of 1ml. That strength will give you the range you need from now to the end of your taper.

How do I know what fraction of 1 mL to cut each day, though?

You want 5% a month? 5% of 2mg is  .1mg, over 30 days is  .0033mg each day. Round to  .0035mg.  Move the decimal place over two places is  .35ml. So you'd cut  .35ml each day to get 5% in a month.
