Need to quit by tapering.

Prescribed 1mg lorazepam October 2016 now up to three a day. Really want to quit. I think I can do it on my own by tapering  I sure hope so.

Though it's only been a few months on the Ativan, it probably is best to do a taper of no more than 10% every week or two.  Here's a link to the General Taper Plans board to begin posting for suggestions from the wider membership.
